Tron keeps expanding into various spheres of the Internet, trying to bring closer the day of decentralizing the web, which includes letting content makers earn money and viewers get rewards for watching adverts.
TronTV is another step in that direction.
‘Find TronTV at Tron Wallet’
The recent post at the Tron Twitter page says that TronTV is a licensed platform that offers users video content free of charge. However, it also offers a bonus for watching adverts – rewards in BTT or USDT.
Viewers of #TRONTV can get BTT/USDT simply by watching ads. The community was able to find #TRON TV at TRON Wallet, a licensed platform that allows viewers to watch video for free. #TRX $TRXhttps://t.co/wUr42KYYcJ— TRON Foundation (@Tronfoundation) September 13, 2019
Mobile version of TronTV can be easily accessed via Tron Wallet by merely typing the title in the search field.
The website has numerous categories of videos, including trailers for movies, games and video content on other topics, such as sport, gambling, etc.
Recently, a similar project was launched by BitTorrent - BitTorrent Live (BLive) - for streamers. As per Justin Sun, content makers on BLive would be getting around 40 percent (with the other 60 going to the platform team) as opposed to such platforms, as YouTube, that take away 90 percent of bloggers’ income.
Rewards on BLive would be made by viewers in BTT.
Justin Sun to reschedule his lunch with Warren Buffett
Recently, Justin Sun announced the winners of the draw made to celebrate a 1-year anniversary of launching the Tron Virtual Machine (TVM). Ten names of Twitter users were published, each of them won 1,000 TRX.
Also, as was confirmed to U.Today by a Tron representative Cliff Edwards, Justin Sun and his team are working to reschedule the much-expected lunch with Warren Buffett.
Among the guests will be the Litecoin founder Charlie Lee, the eToro CEO Yoni Assia and the Circle CEO Jeremy Allaire. CZ of Binance said he was unable to attend, however, a representative of Binance will be attending the lunch which was originally to take place in San-Francisco.
