On Thursday, the Tron creator Justin Sun, who has already become a controversial figure in the crypto community and is believed to be something close to a scammer by many, tweeted that the BitTorrent File System (BTFS) has prepared a ‘secret project’.
Sun is known for his love of turning simple things into a global intrigue by overhyping them. After his recent incident with the Chinese government, when he was put on an exit ban list for a short time, he promised to reduce his social media appearance and stop hyping on Twitter.
However, it seems that Sun is back to what he used to do.
A ‘secret project’ by BTFS
Justin Sun first announced BitTorrent File System (BTFS) on May 31. The mainnet is expected to launch in Q3 this year.
Today, the Tron founder tweeted that a ‘secret project’ by BTFS is to do with content sharing and offers a ‘revolutionary’ way of dealing with it.
He also promised that the project will be made open source and shared with the community.
Tron community is being suspicious
Judging by the comment thread under the tweet, many in the crypto community have lost their trust to Justin Sun and his ‘secret revolutionary’ projects.
Some call the new announcement a prelude to a BTT dump scheme.
Some believe that Justin Sun and Co are planning to conduct a scam. This is not the first accusation of this kind thrown at Justin Sun. First was the BTT launch, when many people failed to understand why create a new coin for BitTorrent and not use TRX.
Recently, the Chinese authorities also accused Sun of illegal crypto fundraise, underground gambling and even running a pornography business.
However, Sun denied all these accusations.
