RippletNet, the global payment network that is run by crypto behemoth Ripple, has onboarded yet another major commercial bank in the Gulf Region.

According to Entrepreneur Middle East, a Dubai-based business magazine, the National Bank of Fujairah (NBF) now uses the benefits of Ripple’s Blockchain technology for conducting cross-border payments.

Furthermore, the NBF claims that it is currently working with other banks to implement Ripple in 2019.

Ripple has been making strides in the affluent MENA region for a long time. As reported by U.Today, Ripple also recently teamed up with one of the largest private banks in Pakistan.
