The Ripple chief executive has been often speaking publicly as of late and was even invited to CNN for an interview, where he answered many questions about Ripple Labs and its XRP coin, clarifying various issues and dismissing the FUD around the company.
Another upcoming event with him as a keynote speaker will be Economic Club of New York and will take place on October 8 in the morning. On the website of the club, his speech is marked as “Brad Garlinghouse breakfast”.
Ripple CEO takes part in an elite economic forum
The aforementioned forum is of a very high level since it usually hosts the most high-ranking speakers from the US and the rest of the world. E.g., such people as the SEC chairman Jay Clayton (spoke on September 9), Robert A. Iger (the Walt Disney CEO, to speak on October 24), Ana Botín (Executive Chairman of Banco Santander, to speak on October 4) will also or have already taken part.
Earlier this year, the Economic Club of New York has seen such speakers, as Brian Moynihan, the CEO of Bank of America, General (Ret.) David H. Petraeus (the former CIA director, Richard Clarida (Vice Chairman of Federal Reserve System) and others who all spoke there in June this year.
