Leon Li, the founder of Huobi Group, has become the CEO of Hong Kong-based Pantronics Holdings. According to a recent press release, Li will help the electronics manufacturer to explore new growth opportunities.
It is worth mentioning that Li will remain the chief executive of Huobi Group, which was founded back in 2013. Moreover, the name of Pantronics will be changed to Huobi Technology Holdings Limited under the new boss.
As reported by U.Today, Huobi bought more than 74 percent of Pantronics shares back in August 2018, which allowed the company to dip its toes into public trading without holding an IPO.
The shares of Pantronics soared by more than 40 percent on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange (SEHK) following the announcement.
